Our Story
Eamon and Lauren live, work and play in and around Coombs.
Located just down the street and around the corner from The Other Side, they have put roots down with the intention of bringing their brand of vitality to the surrounding community.
Lauren owns and runs the organic, handmade children's clothing company Rooted Sprout and the newly emerging women's line - Rooted. She has been attending local markets and craft fairs for years and has gotten to know the handmade community on this island. With a passion for beautiful things, constantly creating, and supporting local makers, curating this shop is a dream come true for her.
Eamon blends various elements of spirit and practicality to create a sense of comfort and ease in the shop. (He also enjoys crafting wood from fun ideas).
Lauren and Eamon are taking The Other Side Artisan Collective to new heights by integrating an in-store workspace where patrons can get a glimpse into their creative process. They are also excited to bring a new component to the Collective - a studio space where regular workshops will be held in the heart of Coombs, with the goal of bringing valuable life skills to the local community.
